About Us

Keith Smith founded Green Street Automotive Repair in 2012.

As a child, Keith spent many days watching his father rebuild and repair cars. It was during this time Keith learned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. After finishing high school, Keith began his mechanics career and eventually worked for Toyota in 1985. While at Toyota, he learned to use computer-based diagnostic tools to enhance his deep knowledge of automobile engines. Although Keith was learning the most advanced techniques in auto repair, he never forgot the lessons learned from his father years ago. His father repaired cars for friends and neighbors, asking for little compensation in return. Keith never forgot the gratitude of those his father helped. He never forgot the warm feeling he felt every time his father would deliver a repaired vehicle to someone who could not afford a new one. Keith was determined to honor his father by opening a business that would truly offer value to the community.
